GeoDocs Instructor-Led Training

AWH provides three levels of GeoDocs™ application training: Content Author, Administrator, and Developer.

AWH will provide training on-site at the customer location using the customer's own installed version of the application. Content Author and Administrator class sizes are limited to a maximum of ten (10) students. Developer classes are one to two day sessions held in smaller groups with up to five (5) trainees per group.  Contact us to schedule a time that works best for you.

Content Author Training  This course provides training for users who will be submitting and managing content within the site. Students will learn page structure, how to create content and use of the WYSIWYG editor to add elements such as images and links, as well as how to maintain web content by editing, reusing, or deleting content from pages.  Best Practices will be taught in basic web design concepts as well as web accessibility standards.  This class is 2 hours in length. The only pre-requisite is that attendees should have basic PC literacy.

Site Administrator Training This course provides training for users who will be managing and publishing content within the organization. Students will work with the Administrative tools to learn how to set up and maintain access security, manage content and file systems, and prepare and publish site content. This class is 2 to 4 hours in length. It is recommended that Administrators have first completed the Content Owner training.

Developer Training Three levels of Developer Training are available, covering everything from templates to advanced integrations with outside applications via the GeoDocs API.  Classes are each 4 hours in length.  AWH provides ongoing mentoring to graduates of the Developer Training classes, and offers periodic 'Open Space' sessions to collaborate on GeoDocs projects in a fun environment.
